Rougher looking than I wanted. It's hard to get a soft, somewhat benign, appearance from a race of creatures meant to resemble insects. Got lots of vacation left to draw, might as well make use of it.
True. These guys are mechanics, which is why they have goggles. However, I could move the goggles up to the top of his head pushing his antennae back the other direction, exposing his buggy little eyes. Also, I need to move his belt back to his body so it isn't wrapping around his wings.

ReplyDeleteThings look more benign if you can see their eyeballs, especially if they have eyebrows or eyebrow-equivalents.
